Blog Start
Monday, the day after the weekend. Mondays always suck kuz u'r always tired, and dont wanna go to work. You got the whole week ahead of you, so chill out and just do what ya gotta do. I gotta get my license plates, and sticker renewed tomorrow, kuz it expires this month. I turned 21 on saturday, go me! Unlike others tho, I dont think I'm going to go out on a drinkin' spree. Drinking to me serves no purpose. Soda tastes fine, why not drink that? Anyway...
Programming stuff today... Programs, computer stuff. Took my computer with me to the Quad cities, didn't use it tho. Thats ok.. I didn't play any games either.. oh well. My skills r probably getting worse now that I havn't played at all.
Feel free to shout me a message or something if ya want, hardly anyone talks at all on this site.
Peace out!

I got up this morning pretty late... yea, pretty much right as I had to leave. I didn't eat anything, so my stomach is slapping me in the face and such. I hate thursdays, I hate them because they arn't fridays. Its the end of the week, but ya still gotta work the next day. Its the day that mocks you saying, "The weekend is near, but NOT HERE YET!!" I dunno, maybe I'm the only person that feels this way. When I went to college we had 4 day weeks. Friday Saturday, and sunday we had off. This was pretty nice. The rest of this week has gone by reasonably fast. I've noticed as you get older time seems to go faster. You dont notice how fast things go past you. So, I guess its a good idea to stop and smell the roses from time to time. Sit down, and watch a good movie with yer babe, cuddle... its all good. Work sucks, and for the most part its not easy. I'd like to find a job that I really enjoy someday tho. Some job that pays about 40 grand a year, and is something I like. I believe that I deserve that type of job. I worked hard in school to only get this crappy job. Yes, its programming, but I get paid like a regular person who didn't go to college, which is rediculous. I think if I was paid more, or felt like I had a really important, reasonable job, that I would work harder. I would be more influenced by my surroundings, and being in a big company is rather intimidating. So, that would be much better for me. I know that these jobs wouldn't be as hard as this one. These companies have systems that are already up, and they dont really need new stuff. Once you learn the system as it is, picking out problems is cake. I've had a lot of experience here. I feel like I'm ready to move on to a different job. I think this weekend I'll start looking for a new job, and fix up my resume. I think its pretty much fixed up, I just have to print out a few copies. Would be nice to make a little more money. I make enough now, but I think if I made a bit more I wouldn't have to worry about it as much. I'd be able to finnish my computer, and pay off my credit card in no time. I got a few bucks short of a thousand dollars on there, which to me isn't much. I'll prolly make about 400 dollar payments every month or so, have that taken care of in about 3 months. Right now I'm rather happy with my computer, so I'm not in a hurry to buy the rest.
Anyway, speaking about this weekend, I turn 21 on saturday! w00t w00t....
I played Battlefield 2 last night a bit more. I was doing very well as a commander, surprisingly enough. I dont much care for the map we were at, but we really seemed to be doing well. It was a tuff match, and I'm seriously surprised that the ticket count was never to our favor. We lost, but what astonished me was our tickets were always 40 below the other team, it never seemed to change, regardless of how many points we had. I got 5 badges and 2 ribbons out of that match, which is my personal best. If I remember right, I got "Basic Armor", "Basic command", "Basic Engineer", "Basic Engineer Combat", and "Basic Anti-Tank combat". I also got the "Staff officer" ribbon, and the "Armored Service" Ribbon. Which is a lot for just one game of play, but I guess thats how things happen. I'm not completely trying to get badges or whatever, I'm more or less trying to gain experience, and figure out tactics that work. Being a commander was kinda fun, kuz you get to blow the crap out of the enemy with artillary. I think I'm a pretty good commander, not the best, but pretty good. I usually repair my own stuff if it gets attacked. I'm not very good at head to head combat with just small arms, I usually get taken out pretty quick... but last night I was holding my own pretty well.
I watched the Abyss with my girlfriend last night. That movie is rather neat, I've seen it before, but its a neat movie to have.
Welp.. thats it for now folks... catch ya later!

BLOGGY BEGIN
It snowed a lot yesterday, I almost went off the road, but I kept it on and slowed down a bit. Scarry stuff.. scarry stuff.
Well, I've been playing a lot of games latly on my new PC. I love it, the thing is awsome. I'll be buying more parts for it soon, hopefully. I've been playing BattleField 2 a lot lately. The game is awsome, its graphics will blow you away. My graphics card can handle the game with all the graphics turned up to full! There's this forum, planet battlefield 2 forums. Thay play together on servers and stuff, and they're pretty cool. I'm trying to be a good gunner. I like being a gunner on the Helicopter because I cant fly all that great, and as a fighter I cant seem to kill as many people as with the Heli. Air to Air combat seems to be where I'm the most deadly. I need practice though, because I'm not all that great. I'm getting better though. I'm starting to hit other Heli's with my TV Guided missiles, which isn't all that easy to do. I'll have to check out the forum's today, and play more tonight. It would be cool to find a pilot that wants to fly around as much as I do, and keep at it. I'm not going to give up, I'm going to hit it hard, and keep trying and trying... I'm bound to get good eventually.
My girlfriend isn't liking the snow very much. She has to walk to work every morning, because I'm already at work, and I'm too far away to drive over and take her. I would like to get her a car and have her get her license. Driving isn't that hard, and I think she's aware of that. Some people seem to be super afraid to drive, but she doesn't seem to be all that scared.
I'm still taking my co-worker to work, and back home. I think his car might be fixed today, maybe not. Hopefully it is, because I'm sick of getting up so early.
Anyway, thats all for now!

Today in the mind of BennySlin we're going to delve into the catacombs of his thoughts. In grade school we get a dozen recesses, how come we dont get hardly any in jr high, or high school? In Counter-Strike: Source there are servers that you go into that keep the chats censored. This is rather retarded given the fact that you have to be over 18 to even buy the game. So, I mess around and try to get kicked from those servers by the admins. Now, obviously an "admin" in these games is not really needed. Here is why I think that. (1) 90% of people are not fit to be an administrator. Thats counting everyone, so if you take out the people who play games, that might be 98% not fit to administer a server. These people are going to do one of a few things, or maybe more then one, who knows. Admins are usually power-greedy people. Most of the time they will use their admin powers to kick people, bury people into the ground (so they cannot move, and thus makes them unable to fight back), kill people, ..the list goes on. This is whats known as an "Abusive Admin". Admins also use their "powers" to make people think they are better then everyone else. They think that becuase they have "admin powers" they are a god. If you piss off the gods, then you will get kick/banned from the server. How do you piss off an admin? The answers are limitless, how far can your mind go?
Game developers do their best to keep cheaters at bay, and they do a rather good job. So, I think that having an admin in the game is redundant. This only adds to the problem. Now there are admins in servers that could be cheater-free.
Another job for an admin is keeping people in check with language, actions, and what-not. For instance people who cuss, or abuse the microphone. If people do not want to hear this, or this offends them in anyway, there is a way to mute the player in question. Therefore eliminating the problem right there completely separate from an admin's help. How about the in-game chat? I'm not sure about blocking a certain member, but you can disable the chat as well. I'd also assume that you could just as simply not look at the chat room, but of course that is not a valid argument. So, the actions of a player is left. Friendly Fire is a setting that determins whether or not a player can injure his own team or not. Some people come into a server with the intention of TK'ing their team, that is.. "Team Killing" people. Also, in CS:S, there are Flash Grenades that blind players for a few seconds. Sometimes a person may toss a Flash nade in the area where his own team is, making it easier for the other team to kill them. These things can be left to a vote for the other players. In most servers right now there is a way to call a player vote inside the game to kick, or even ban, the player. The command is, respectivly, votekick and voteban. When a vote is called each player presses a certain key to vote YES or NO to kick the player from the server. In my oppinion these commands should be made avalible in ALL servers. Again canceling out the need for an administrator in that situation. This could also assist with the player "hacking" problem.
Well, those are my thoughts for the day.. untill next time!

It'll be fun having a 2 people LAN party all the time. Maybe I can get my friends to come up and play with us. That would be the bomb diggity!! At any rate, I've been watching purepwnage so I'm in the whole pwning n00bs mood. I was doing really well last night. Killin people like crazy, I was like... BOOM HEADSHOT... BOOM HEADSHOT..
